The ceramic fiber rods consist of approximately 1,000 bonded ceramic fibers with a diameter of only a few microns.

The tips of each individual ceramic fiber form the cutting edges and are temperature resistant up to about 150 °C.

Due to their self-sharpening effect, the grinding performance remains consistently stable. This ensures uniform and excellent polishing and grinding results throughout the entire tool life.
