Contour-controlled Deburring Tools
Deburring is performed directly in the machine by following the workpiece contour using a customized NC program. The milling cutter removes the burr with a defined depth of cut and repeatability, while applying a chamfer. Due to the rigid tool path control with the NC program, the use of contour-controlled tools requires workpieces with tight positional tolerances.
