The BURR-OFF is one of the most efficient and cost-effective deburring tools ever produced for mass production. Its simple, one-piece design is perfectly suited for automated deburring processes with high productivity. The tool’s open slot design prevents contamination or chip buildup, making it ideal for automatic equipment and multi-spindle machines. Like the BURRAWAY, the BURR-OFF deburrs the front and/or back side of bores in a single operation.
BURR-OFF tools from 1.57 mm to 5.56 mm feature a single cutting edge. Larger tools have two cutting edges.
CUSTOM DESIGNS & REGRINDING
In addition to the standard BURR-OFF tool, we also offer custom-modified versions tailored to your application based on a component drawing. Take advantage of our cost-effective regrinding service to have your BURR-OFF tool quickly ready for use again!

1. DEBURR FRONT SIDE Integrated cutting edges remove the burr when inserting the tool into the hole. The slotted tool shank enables the same functional principle as with the Burraway; the tool deburrs the bore under spring pressure. |
|
2. DEBURR BORE While passing through the hole, the cutting edge is pressed into the tool under spring tension (the rounded and polished cutting edges do not damage the bore surface). |
|
3. DEBURR BACK SIDE In the reverse feed direction, the back side of the bore is deburred. |
