Uncompromisingly high cutting speeds mean for a drill that it is exposed to high process temperatures caused by friction between the tool and the bore wall. The special tool concept of the
KEMPF DualCut drill deliberately induces a minimal wobble motion of the tool so that the guiding chamfers of the tool contact only a small portion of the machining path along the bore wall.
