The tool can be used for the following applications:

- Constant and precise chamfering
- Guiding pin enables optimum support in the workpiece and extreme working depths of up to 10×D
- No change in direction of rotation required
- One basic tool covers workpiece diameters from 4.0 mm to 25.0 mm; only the cutting edge and guiding pin need to be adapted to the workpiece
- Chamfer size can be precisely adjusted using the adjusting ring
- Bearing-mounted guiding piece prevents damage to the workpiece
- Standard guiding pieces and cutting edges available for diameters from 4.75 mm to 19.05 mm
