#burrfree at AMB 2026 - Review of a successful trade fair
When people come together, great conversations happen, new ideas emerge, and sometimes the best solutions take shape. AMB 2026 once again showed just how valuable face-to-face interaction can be.
From day one, our booths in Hall 1 were buzzing with activity. What we particularly appreciated was how specific and application-focused many of the conversations were. We discussed real components, challenging deburring applications, and ways to make manufacturing processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
Deburring matters in manufacturing
The tremendous interest at AMB made one thing clear: Deburring is much more than just a necessary step at the end of the machining process. Manufacturers are looking for solutions that integrate reliably into existing production processes, reduce manual rework, and deliver consistent, repeatable results #burrfree straight out of the machine.
Our solutions attracted a great deal of attention – from the new Turning Brush for deburring directly on the lathe and the ultra-compact XS version of our ibex deburring system to the KEMPF ExBurrDrill for drilling with minimal burr formation.
Our latest developments also caught the attention of the trade press, who took the opportunity at AMB to learn more about our solutions and innovations firsthand.
Conversations turn into projects
What we will remember most about AMB, however, are the many personal connections. Existing customers, international sales partners, new contacts, specific manufacturing challenges, and plenty of technical discussions created a fantastic atmosphere at our booth.
And the interest extended far beyond deburring. Many of our conversations focused on a wide range of machining and metalworking processes and challenges. After all, what happens upstream often determines how much deburring is required afterward.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas with us, and brought their real-world manufacturing challenges to the conversation.
Now it’s time for the next steps – and we look forward to turning the many conversations we had at AMB into exciting new projects together.
AMB 2026 – five days full of new ideas and great connections.
