On October 23 and 24, SCHUNK in Brackenheim once again hosted the "Expert Days," this time focusing on the topic of Robotic Material Removal. As automation increasingly becomes a key factor in ensuring companies remain competitive and future-ready, the development of simple and flexible systems presents significant challenges for robotics manufacturers. The SCHUNK Expert Days provided an opportunity for all participants to expand the growing specialist network and collaborate on solutions.

With a total of six workshops and additional presentations, this cross-industry networking event offered approximately 40 international attendees the chance to exchange ideas and network.

Deburring specialist KEMPF from Reichenbach-Fils was represented on-site by Technical Field Service Dominik Wiesner and Managing Director Steffen Hedrich. One of the workshops provided practical demonstrations of robotic deburring capabilities, with a particular focus on deburring of simple and complex contours as well as deburring of internal bores.
